Doug Carter: Where Do Our Rights Come From?

Without a doubt, one of the biggest issues our nation faces today is the crisis of humanity and human rights.

The Left claims to be a champion of human rights, but let’s talk about the source of human rights. In our nation we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We find that in the Declaration of Independence.

But what happens when the Left doesn’t believe in God? Where do your rights come from?

The Left has bought into a philosophy called “humanism.”

Humanism is built on the underlying assumption there is no God; humanity is all there is.

But that only goes so far. With globalization, everybody has different ideas. How do you reconcile everyone’s ideas in a globalized world?

The Left has turned to nature. Nature is all there is to them. There is no god who created the world; the world just “is”.

In a world like that, if nature is all there is, where do your rights come from? What are the sources of human rights?

Science is the answer they give us.

Therefore, you use science to determine right and wrong. But what’s interesting is the Left has taken the position that science says we’re overpopulated. If we’re overpopulated, what’s the right thing to do?

How do you save the planet if we’re overpopulated?

Who’s the enemy of the planet if we’re overpopulated?

That’s the people.

To the Left, we produce and consume too much. We consume more than nature can regenerate, so we have to have a managed decline.

I think that’s what the mask mandates are all about. I think that’s what the Covid lockdowns are all about.

Why is it the Left wants to keep our nation locked down- in fact, the whole world locked down? It’s the progressives that want to keep it locked down.

God says in Genesis 1:28, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the Earth and use it.”

It’s the exact opposite of the position the Left takes; it’s the antithesis.

When you’re talking about the antithesis of God- the antithesis of Christ- you’re talking about the Antichrist.

What Kind of World Do YOU Want?

Whew! I just returned from a whirlwind of conferences, speeches, and yes, even the Washington, DC Prayer March 2020.

In the last two weeks I heard speeches from Charlie Kirk, Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, Judge Jeanine Pirro, Todd Starnes, Elizabeth Johnstone (“The Activist Mommy”), Kevin and Sam Sorbo, Franklin Graham, and our Vice-President, Mike Pence.

My biggest takeaway is their messages consistently contain this theme: We’re facing an unprecedented shift away from biblical values and we need to repent as a nation.

As I mingled with the crowds, I asked why people came to these events. From all across the country, the reason I kept hearing was this: everyone is concerned about the future of our nation.

So let me ask you the same question: What kind of world do you want for yourself, your children, and your grandchildren?

Plain and simple, our freedoms could be turned upside down after the upcoming election because Democrats bought into the socialist philosophy that says take every principle previously called rational and turn it on its head.

The truth is, your UNALIENABLE, GOD-GIVEN Rights are at stake in this election. As you’re about to discover, the Left and their protectors in the media have misled you.

If this were not true, then why- on September 27, 2015- did Barack Obama sign the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development? The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a global social contract to create a new world order in which your rights are determined- not by your Creator as the second sentence of the Declaration of Independence says- but by the United Nations under Article 29, section 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This is what you need to understand: Human rights are principles we use to establish Good and Evil in society. This election, we have the same choice Adam and Eve faced in the Garden of Eden. Who will determine Good and Evil after this election? There are only 2 sources of human rights: either our rights come from God or they come from man. And this election, we will choose whether to eat all the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil or leave it alone.

Most people know little to nothing about the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development or that it is a plan to create a global government by 2030 and no one in media is telling you about it. Very few people understand how far that plan has advanced in our society since 2015.

Let me ask you a few questions: Have you ever heard of “sustainable disarmament?” “open borders?” “GAPMIL- the Global Alliance for Partnerships in Media and Information Literacy that censors conservative news?” Did you know under “Education 2030”, which was written in 2015, there are plans to create a global online education system before 2030 for times of crisis?

If you’re as concerned about these issues as I am, then you already know you need to be informed of what’s going on.
